Based on the working principle, nail guns can be divided into two categories: low/medium velocity tool and high velocity tool.
Low/Medium velocity tool use the gunpowder gases to directly drive the nail, propelling it forward. As a result, the nail leaves the gun with a high velocity (approximately 500 meters per second) and kinetic energy.
In a high velocity tool, the powder gases do not act directly on the nail, but on a piston inside the nail gun. The energy is transferred to the nail via the piston. As a result, the nail leaves the nail gun at a lower speed.
Installation method
It is not recommended to use a nail gun on soft substrates, such as wood or soft soil, as this will damage the brake ring of the nail gun and affect its normal operation.
For soft and low-strength materials, such as sound insulation boards, thermal insulation boards, straw fiberboards, etc., ordinary nail fastening methods are likely to cause damage to the materials. Therefore, nails with metal washers should be used to achieve the ideal fastening effect.
After installing the nail barrel, do not push the barrel of the nail gun directly with your hands.
Do not point a loaded nail gun at others.
If the nail barrel fails to fire during the firing process, wait for more than 5 seconds before moving the nail gun.
Always remove the nail cartridge before finishing using the nail gun or performing maintenance.
When shooting soft materials (such as wood), you should choose a nail barrel with appropriate power. Excessive power may break the piston rod.
If the nail gun is used for too long, the worn parts (such as piston rings) should be replaced in time, otherwise it may lead to unsatisfactory shooting results (such as reduced power).
After nailing, all parts of the nail gun should be wiped or cleaned in time.
All types of nail guns are equipped with instruction manuals. Please read the instructions before use to understand the principles, performance, structure, disassembly and assembly methods of the nail gun, and comply with the prescribed precautions.
To ensure the safety of you and others, please use compatible powder loads and drive pins.
