Today we will introduce 8 of fastener:self-tapping screws, wood screws, washers, retaining rings, pins, rivets, components and joints and welding studs.
(1) Self-tapping screws: Similar to screws, but the threads on the shank are specially designed for self-tapping screws. They are used to fasten two thin metal parts together so that they become one unit. A small hole must be drilled in advance in the parts. Due to their high hardness, these screws can be screwed directly into the hole of the parts, forming the corresponding internal thread. This type of connection is also a detachable connection.
(2) Wood screw: Similar to a screw, but the threads on the shank are specially designed for wood screws and can be screwed directly into wooden parts (or parts). Used to fasten metal (or non-metal) parts with through holes to wooden parts. This type of connection is also a detachable connection.
(3) Washer: A fastener in the shape of a flat ring, placed between the supporting surface of a bolt, screw or nut and the surface of the connected part, which increases the contact area of the connected part, reduces the pressure per unit area, and protects the surface of the connected part from damage. There is also an elastic washer that can prevent the nut from loosening.
(4) Retaining ring: Used to be installed in the groove or hole of steel structure or equipment to prevent the parts on the shaft or in the hole from moving horizontally.
(5) Pin: Mainly used for positioning parts, some can also be used to connect parts, fix parts, transmit power, or lock other fasteners.
(6) Rivet: A fastener consisting of a head and a shank, used to fasten two parts (or components) with through holes together to make them a whole. This connection is called a rivet connection or riveting. This is an irreversible connection because the rivet needs to be broken to separate the two connected parts.
(7) Assemblies and joints: Assemblies refer to a type of fastener supplied in a combined form, such as a combination of a specific machine screw (or bolt, self-tapping screw) and a flat washer (or spring washer, lock washer). Joints refer to a type of fastener supplied in a combination of a specific bolt, nut and washer, such as a high-strength large hexagon head bolt joint for use in structures.
(8) Weld stud: A fastener consisting of a smooth shank and head (or headless) that is fixed to a part (or component) by welding for subsequent connection with other parts.
The new tool integrated nail is an efficient and fast building fixing tool, widely used in construction, furniture, wood products and other fields. Its working principle is to press the nail in the gun body for a long time through a precise mechanism to accumulate enough energy. Once the trigger is pulled, the energy will be released instantly, and the nail will be shot into the material to be fixed with the nail gun.
