Meaning of Power Loads:
Powder loads are new type of fasteners, used with powder actuated tool to fix or fasten objects, usually consisting of a shell and special powder inside. Here are some common specifications and standards of powder loads as below:
1. Size: The size of powder loads is usually determined according to different types of work. Common sizes are 12 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, etc. Different sizes are suitable for different types of tools and work.
2. Power level: The strength of Powder loads is usually indicated by color, and different colors represent different power levels. For example, for most powder loads, black means stronger and white means lower.
3. Safety standards: Powder loads need to be paid attention to safety during the use. Powder loads must comply with relevant national standards and industry standards and pass certification before they can be put on the market.
Firing principle of powder loads:
The firing principle of powder loads is to use the high-pressure gas generated by the explosion of gunpowder in the ammunition to push the power loads out of the gun barrel. Specifically, the firearms that set the power loads are usually composed of parts such as the barrel, bolt, magazine and trigger. When the trigger is pulled, the bolt will unlock and move backward, sending the ammunition from the magazine into the gun barrel. At the same time, the firing pin will also be pulled backward by the bolt.
When the trigger is fully pressed, the firing pin will contact the primer (also known as the gunpowder seat), causing the gunpowder in the gunpowder seat to explode. The high temperature and high-pressure gas generated by the gunpowder explosion expands rapidly, pushing the firing pin forward.
The impact force of the firing pin ignites the gunpowder in the primer, triggering the explosion of the entire ammunition. The high-pressure gas of the explosion product expands rapidly and pushes the nail bullet out of the gun barrel.
